Venison Big Mac Egg Rolls

So just to make it clear – I’m not a hunter. Not really. I kill a deer …. sometimes. And only one in a season because that’s what we’ll eat in a year. But this is new to me, something I just started in the last 3 years. I don’t come from a family of hunters and management’s favorite meat is tofu, so that means I’m always on the lookout for how to prepare and eat this year’s beautiful deer. I came across a Big Mac egg roll recipe and figured this was gonna be delicious with venison and boy…

Grown up sloppy joes! Yes, sloppy joes can be crazy delicious.

Grown Up Sloppy Joes

Oh my goodness kids…it has been FOREVER! So many events and changes have happened since I last posted. I won’t get into all of them, but to sum it up…life happened and it hit me like a ton of bricks! My schedule is so wacky that carving out time for posting, videos, pictures and just the food planning and cooking has been ridiculously challenging. But I’m back and will figure out a way to make this all work! So, with that sorry explanation, I’m back with a solid, old-school recipe….GROWN UP SLOPPY JOES! Yes people, sloppy joes. This could be your savior and I’ll tell you a few reasons why. First, these meatballs are delicious with very little work. Yes, the time can vary from 20 minutes to one hour, but it just depends on your meatball size. If you don’t have an hour, make those little badgers smaller and they cook up in no time. Second, this is a prep…

Southwest Meatloaf

Believe me when I tell you, this is a great southwest meatloaf. I get it, you doubt me. I don’t blame you. I mean…meatloaf. Bleh. I feel the same way but one day the wife and I were kicking around some food ideas while having some wine. That’s usually how it starts, yeah? We’re talking about some burgers we make with Doritos and such, and BOOM!, the idea hits me. Let’s make a loaf similar to that burger…a southwest meatloaf! We knew it had to entail beef and pork, after all, that’s the key to a moist meatloaf. It also…
