Grown up sloppy joes! Yes, sloppy joes can be crazy delicious.

Grown Up Sloppy Joes

Oh my goodness kids…it has been FOREVER! So many events and changes have happened since I last posted. I won’t get into all of them, but to sum it up…life happened and it hit me like a ton of bricks! My schedule is so wacky that carving out time for posting, videos, pictures and just the food planning and cooking has been ridiculously challenging. But I’m back and will figure out a way to make this all work! So, with that sorry explanation, I’m back with a solid, old-school recipe….GROWN UP SLOPPY JOES! Yes people, sloppy joes. Funny little story…

Fried pork tenderloin sandwich is not the healthiest, but it sure is delicious!

Fried Pork Tenderloin Sandwich

This fried pork tenderloin sandwich will take the boring out of pork tenderloin. Tender, juicy and so delicious! We all know what time it is guys, it’s quarantine time. And to be honest, it hasn’t been so bad. I know people are having some tough times right now, but for me personally, I’ve had zero stress about this. Me and the wife have actually been enjoying it. It’s been, oh…I don’t know, a month since we’ve seen civilization. Not exactly true, we did go to Costco twice in that month but other than that, we’re staying home. So yeah, it…

I don’t want to spring it on you at the end and say well damn, I just wasted my time on this joker because I don’t have or want to have…

Hot and spicy Italian beef sandwich is so easy in your Instant Pot! Few ingredients, but BIG flavor! Chuck roast, peppers, crushed tomatoes, beef broth.

Hot and Spicy Italian Beef – Instant Pot

If I see it on a menu, odds are I’m gonna try it. But if you’re into beef sandwiches, you know, you KNOW they are not all created equally. Some are bland, some are just sliced deli meat, some are more like a beef fat sandwich, and some are so sopped up with juice you can’t even lift the damn thing, you have to use a fork. That’s why I like…

Ground beef simmered in tasty, dark beer with onion, pepper and spices = tender goodness on a buttered bun. Mom would be proud.

Mom’s Mince & Ale Loose Meat Sandwich

This is not my mom’s loose meat sandwich – but there is a story behind it that involves my mom. When I was a kid in Jackson, Mississippi, my mom and dad used to take us to this restaurant, I have no idea what it was called, but they had these loose meat sandwiches.  We all loved them! So my mom being my mom, recreated it at home.  Well, her version.  We had it often when I was a kid and all I can really remember about it is that it was a loose meat sandwich and it was peppery…
