Make delicous taco meat from fresh or frozen in your Instant Pot.
Place 2 pounds of meat in the Instant Pot, fresh or frozen. Add 1 cup beef broth to the pot. Pressure on high for 20 minutes if using fresh, not frozen meat. 30 minutes if you're starting with frozen meat. QUICK RELEASE.
Carefully open the lid. With a spatula or a meat breaker upper, break the meat up to the size you're looking for. Add in the taco seasoning and the optional salsa or heat you're using. Stir. Pressure for 20 minutes. QUICK RELEASE.
Carefully open the lid. Turn on the saute/simmer feature. Stirring constantly, simmer until you like consistency. This happens quickly so don't leave your pot. Turn the pot off and let it sit for about 5 minutes. Enjoy!
